No sé si habrán visto el vídeo viral llamado "Fitch the Homeless". Es un vídeo creado por el escritor Greg Karber y en él se hace una fuerte crítica a las declaraciones dadas recientemente por el CEO de Abercrombie & Fitch, Mike Jeffries, quien, entre otras cosas, dijo que no tenia ropa de tallas grandes porque no quería que la gente gorda use su ropa y que solo contrataba gente atractiva porque su mercado objetivo es el mismo tipo de gente atractiva y "cool". A mi me parece increíble sinceramente,

ni siquiera sé como explicarlo, así que mejor les dejo la declaración exacta (traducida, más abajo esta en inglés y el vídeo) que Jeffries dio:

Increíble, cierto? Pero bueno eso fue lo que dijo y obviamente generó mucha polémica. Entonces este hombre, Greg, creó en vídeo con una idea clara: regalar ropa de la marca A&F a los sin hogar, a la gente pobre. En su vídeo Greg le pide a la gente que done toda la ropa de esa marca a la "thrift shop" (que vendría a ser una tienda de ropa usada, en donde la ropa cuesta baratísimo) mas cercana para que la gente de escasos recursos la pueda usar también  Ahora, esta iniciativa ha tenido varias críticas. La principal es que al hacer esto se esta considerando a la gente pobre y sin hogar como alguien "no-tan-cool" y que eso tambien es menospreciarlos. A mi eso me parece ridículo  Creo que él les regala la ropa de Abercrombie con la intención de demostrarle a Jeffries que TODOS pueden usar su marca, incluso los que él considera que por ser pobres y "poco atractivos" no merecen llevarla puesta. A mi me parece una buena iniciativa y en serio no pienso usar más esa marca (teniendo en cuenta de que yo no soy una chica de tallas pequeñas, me he sentido especialmente ofendida con sus declaraciones). Y bueno, creo que me altere un poco jajaja!! y lo quise publicar porque no quería que algo así pasara sin más. Espero que les haya sido de interés y no los haya aburrido! I dont know if you have seen the viral video called "Fitch the Homeless". Its a video made by the writer Greg Karber and in it he makes a strong critic against the recent declarations given by the Abercrombie & Fitch CEO, Mike Jeffries, whom, between other stuff, said that they doesnt have large clothes because they doesnt want that fat people use their clothes and that they only hire attractive people because they target were other attractive and cool people. Im really shock! I cant believe it! I dont even know how to explain it, so i leave you his exact declaration:

Unbelievable, right? But anyways, that was what he said and obviously it generated a lot of controversy. Then, this guy, Greg, made a video with a clear idea: giveaway all your A&F clothes, to the homeless. In the video, Greg ask to all the people to donate their A&F clothes to the nearest thrift shop so the homeless people can wear it too. But this iniciative have a lot of critics. The most strong one is based on the idea that, if we give them the clothes, we are saying that the are part of that "not-so-cool" gruop, and thats despise too. I think thats ridiculous. I think he does that with the intention of proving Jeffries that anyone can wear his brand's clothes, even the "poor and unattractive"  ones that he considers unworthy. I certainly think is a great iniciative and i definitely dont want to wear their clothes again (being a not-small-sizes girl, i felt very insulted). Oook, i think i overheated a little bit hahaha!! and i wanted to publish this because i didnt want that something like this pass by. I hope it interest you and that i didnt bored you guys!
